Purlins are also known as purlins, beams, horizontal roof beams perpendicular to the roof truss or rafters, and support the rafters or roofing materials. Purlins are laterally bent (usually bidirectionally bent) members, and are generally designed as single-span simply supported purlins. Commonly used purlins are two kinds of solid-belly type and light steel truss type.
